Hello, fam! Welcome back again. Hope you had a good time! Today we are going to discuss about Android v/s iPhone. Why Android phones are better than iPhones and why should we choose them over iPhones!
Android v/s iPhone is considered the most prominent debate these days. However, the gap between Android phones and iPhones is narrowed at the time. Here are some reasons why we should prefer Android phones.
Take a look on 4th and 5th one. We are spending lakhs of money purchasing an iPhone but we aren’t provided with these simple features in it!
Android v/s iPhone-Why to choose an Android phone?
Cost– Android v/s iPhone
The first and the most important thing is the budget!
So, in terms of cost, iPhone is one of the most expensive smartphones in India. While, in case of Android phones we get a wide variety of brands, features, price, colours, etc. We can purchase a better smartphone up to ₹25,000 or less!
Appstore is designed by Apple Inc. for mobile apps on iOS and iPAD OS operating system. You can download and install apps only from Appstore. Any other third-party browsers are not allowed to download or install any application. For using some applications, you might have to pay for it.
Google Playstore is the most commonly used platform for installing applications by Android users. However, you can also use Google Chrome or any other regular browser to install the applications. The applications available are totally free.
Customization UI– Android v/s iPhone
In iPhones, you can’t change the Customisation User Interface. One thing you can only change is the wallpaper. You have to use the same theme, same icons until you change your phone. Chances of getting bored is more!
While in Android phones, you can change as many as themes you want. You can even change the wallpapers, screen savers, icon style, icon size and many more. Whenever you want something new in your phone, just go and change the customization!
When you buy an iPhone, it comes with an internal storage capacity from 16 to 512 GB. The apps you install, the pictures you capture or the music you buy uses the storage of your device. The filling up and running out of your storage capacity depends on the content you enjoy in your device. But as the storage gets full, we can get 5GB space as we sign up in iCloud. However, the storage can’t be expanded more.
In case of Android phone, it comes with internal storage 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and more. It can be expanded with the help of SD card. You can expand internal memory up to 256 GB in normal smartphone. Also, Google Photos gives you 15 GB free space. We just need to turn on the backup of the media we want.
Downloading and Transferring Files
If you are using iPhone, you will not be able to download anything from internet. You can’t even download videos, photos and music to your device. No USB cable can be used to transfer files. Airdrop can be used for transferring files.
Your favorite song can’t even added to the playlist. You have to listen to the songs that are already added in the playlist.
In Android Phones, you can easily download pictures, songs, videos from any browser. For transferring files many apps are designed like inShare, Shareit (Which is now banned), etc. Also, for transferring files from phone to pc you can attach phone with pc by Charging cable and copy paste the files. Pendrive can also be connected to the phone with the help of OTG.
You can either install other apps like Spotify, Gaana etc for listening music or you can easily download your favourite song through browser.
Nowadays, iPhone doesn’t provide a charger with the phone. But earlier, they gave chargers along with the phone. However, the chargers provided were slow chargers. You had to purchase a fast charger separately. Also, iPhone has its special charger and socket, you can’t use any other charger instead of an iPhone charger. You have to spend extra money on a charger along with the high-cost iPhone.
While in Android phones, you get charger along with the phone. You can use any other cable of different brand or company to charge your phone. It may harm your phone slightly but you can have your phone charged using any other cable in case of urgency. Also, the chargers provided are mostly fast chargers.
So, these were some of the reasons I wanted to share with you all.
